Is a Spring Break Party Pass Worth It?

Is a spring break party pass worth it? A plain method to work out your own break-even, plus when a pass wins, when it does not, and what to check.

5 min readUpdated Oct 2026By PCB Club Card
Quick answer

A party pass is worth it if you will use it on enough nights that the entry, drink specials and perks you would actually use add up to more than the price. It is not worth it if you plan one night out, will not use the drink windows, or have not checked which venues and nights it covers. Work out your own break-even before buying.

The honest answer: it depends on your nights

We sell the PCB Club Card, so you should assume we want you to buy it. Here is a way to decide that does not depend on trusting us: do the math with your own plan.

The break-even method

  1. List the nights you will actually go out. Be honest. Most groups do not go out all seven.
  2. Write down what you would pay without a pass. Entry or cover for each venue and night, per person. Get the numbers from the venues or events, not from guesses.
  3. If you are 21+, add the drinks you would buy in the pass’s drink windows. The card’s free drink windows are 3 to 5 PM and 8 to 10 PM for Ultimate and Platinum, beer and a pre-mixed liquor option for guests 21+ with valid photo ID.
  4. Add any event you would pay for anyway. For example, the Beach Blast Day Party on Wednesdays at Señor Frog’s is listed on the card page as included for Ultimate and Platinum.
  5. Subtract what you will not use. If you will skip the drink windows or leave early, do not count them.
  6. Compare the total to the pass price, plus taxes and fees.

If your total is higher than the pass price, the pass wins. If it is close, think about convenience. If it is lower, skip it.

When a pass is probably worth it

  • You plan to go out at least several nights of your week.
  • You want to move between venues, not stay at one.
  • You will use the early evening windows and the day party.
  • You want express or VIP perks and will use them (Ultimate).
  • You care about knowing the cost of nightlife before you arrive.

When it probably is not

  • You are staying one or two nights. Start with Fred’s Card if the plan is Fred’s, or compare door prices.
  • Your group will mostly stay at the beach or the room.
  • You are under 21 and care mainly about the drink windows. Entry perks may still apply at 18+ with valid photo ID, but the drink perks are for guests 21+.
  • You have not checked your week. A pass is for one week (Week 1 Feb 27 to Mar 5 through Week 4 Mar 20 to Mar 26). See when spring break 2027 is.
  • The price would stretch your budget past what you can afford. See spring break on a budget.

Check these before you pay for any pass

  1. Which venues and which nights does it cover?
  2. What are the entry cutoffs, and what happens after them?
  3. Is the age rule clear? Ours is 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink, both with valid photo ID.
  4. Is there a refund or a transfer? Ours: all purchases final, transfer to another eligible attendee before pickup.
  5. Can you verify the seller? See how to spot fake spring break events and tickets.

Frequently asked questions

Is a spring break party pass worth the money?

It is when you will go out on enough nights to use the entry and perks. Add up what you would otherwise pay at the door, for drinks if you are 21+, and for any events, then compare it to the pass price.

Which PCB Club Card level is the best value?

It depends on how late and how often you go out. Ultimate has all-night free entry. Platinum has free entry until 11 PM. Fred’s Card has free entry 8-10 PM at Fred’s only. Pick the one that matches your nights.

Can I get a refund on the PCB Club Card if I do not use it?

All purchases are final. You may transfer your pass to another eligible attendee before pickup.

Do I need a pass if I am under 21?

You do not need one to enjoy the beach, but entry perks apply to 18+ guests with valid photo ID at card venues. Drink perks are for guests 21+ with valid photo ID.
